Families Rehoming a Bunny

1. Submit a Rehoming Application

Complete the Rehoming Application and provide current photos, personality description, age, diet, and any special needs.

2. Application Review & Approval

3. Rehoming Placement Fee

A non-refundable $200 placement fee per bunny is required to cover administrative cost, applicant screening, advertising, communication with prospective adopters, and placement services. The fee includes one month of active listing in our Rehoming Placement Program from the date payment is received. If your bunny is not placed within that time and you wish to continue the listing, a new placement fee will be required for each additional month.

4. Matching & Placement

We will carefully evaluate approved adopters and work to match your bunny with the family best suited to their personality, needs & lifestyle.

5. Transition to their new home

Once your bunny match has been found, we will coordinate the adoption process and provide guidance to help ensure a smooth transition for both you and your bunny and their new family. 

Please note: While we make every effort to help find your bunny a new loving home, acceptance into our Rehoming Placement Program and placement are not guaranteed. We can not guarantee adopters interest or how quickly a suitable match will be found, as placement depends on family availability, compatibility, and demand. Placement timelines and outcomes are ultimately beyond our control.

Families Looking to Adopt a Rehomed Bunny

Tell us about your family, lifestyle, rabbit experience, & what type of bunny you are hoping to adopt.

2. Application Review & Approval

3. Adoption placement Fee

A non-refundable $200 placement fee per bunny is required to cover application review, family screening, preparation guidance and placement service. 

4. Joining Our Waitlist

Once approved, your family will be added to our Rehoming Waitlist. As bunnies become available, we will contact approved families. 

5. Transition to their new home

Once the match has been confirmed, we will coordinate the adoption process and provide guidance to help ensure a smooth transition for both your family and your new bunny. 

Please note: Availability of rehomed bunnies varies throughout the year, and we cannot guarantee how quickly a bunny will become available. Our priority is finding the best possible match for both the bunny and the adopting family.
